Title I & Schoolsite Council Meeting

Thank you for your interest in the Schoolsite Council!

The SSC is a representative body composed of staff, parents, community members, and students. Its primary responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing student achievement data, gathering community input, developing the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), and monitoring the implementation of the school budget and improvement strategies. This ensures that the school meets its goals while adhering to state and federal regulations (California Department of Education).

1) Board Policies that discuss District Strategies for Title I Schools around Parent Involvement. These policies ensure that parents/guardians and family members of students participating in Title I programs are provided with opportunities to be involved in their children's education.

2) The DM Letter for Parent's Right to Know Regarding Teacher Qualifications/Title 1, 2025-26 outlines how the Title I program benefits our students.

3) DMHS 2025-26 Title I Family Engagement Policy. Del Mar High School, with parents and family members, has jointly developed, mutually agreed upon, and distributed to, parents and family members of participating children in Title I, Part A programs the following requirements as outlined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) sections 1116(b) and (c)..

4) The Annual Del Mar Parent/Family School Compact for Learning outlines how Del Mar High School’s parents/families, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement. By doing so, the school and parents/families will build and develop a partnership that will help our students achieve the state’s high standards for the school year.
